In-house soccer, netball and cross-country are offered at Jabulane Christian Academy.
Soccer and netball are winter sports from February until June. Foundation phase groups focus mostly on developing motor skills and ball skills whereas Intersen phase groups focus on technique and learning to play the game according to the rules. Our goal is to raise funds in order to build multi-purpose sports fields in the near future.
Cross country takes place during term 3 when winter is at its end and everyone is looking forward to spending more time outdoors. Our spacious property allows for long distance runs in simplicity along a scenic route. This sport allows for one to not only compete against others but also against oneself and previous time records. Cross country not only develops physical strength and fitness but also tests one’s character and builds perseverance. Our annual in house cross country race always brings out a tremendous sense of camaraderie where learners encourage each other.
